About Us

WHO WE ARE

We are the IEEE student branches of the University of British Columbia (UBC), Simon Fraser University (SFU), British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), and the UBC Electrical and Computer Engineering Student Society (ECESS). We represent IEEE, the world’s largest professional society in technology. The Electrical and Computer Engineering Student Society is the council that represents over 900 UBC undergraduate students, and serves to promote the academic, professional and social well-being of students through multiple events. As one of the largest IEEE student branches in Canada, we are actively involved in events and activities dedicated to developing the professional skills of engineering students.

OUR VISION AND MISSION
